Books were always a thing I always love to collect. This piece was inspired by a dream I had and ended up drawing when I woke up from it. The books were supposed to represent the collection I have in my room and how it always build up based on either of interest, editions, connection with emotions, and academics. The girl smoking is a representation of me in this dream state of mine, someone who always likes to do the complete opposite of what I do. The smoke cloud forming the skyline of New York City represents the area I grew up in.
